Turn Your Marketing Data Into Better Business Decisions
Google Analytics Consulting
& Conversion Tracking
Your analytics should tell you what’s working, where your leads are coming from, and which marketing efforts are actually contributing to growth.
Unfortunately, inaccurate tracking, duplicate tags, missing conversions, disconnected platforms, and confusing reports can make your data difficult to trust.
I help businesses properly configure Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and reporting so you can stop guessing and start making decisions based on reliable data.
Google Analytics Should Answer Business Questions, Not Create More of Them
Website traffic alone doesn’t tell you whether your digital marketing is successful.
You need to know what visitors do after they reach your website.
Did they call?
Did they submit a form?
Did they schedule an appointment?
Did they request a quote?
Did they purchase?
And most importantly, which marketing channel brought them there?
A properly configured analytics system connects those actions to your SEO, Google Ads, AI Search, email, social media, referral traffic, and other digital marketing efforts.
That’s when analytics becomes useful.

What Can We Track?
Every business defines a conversion differently.
Depending on your website and goals, I can help track:
✔ Phone calls
✔ Contact form submissions
✔ Quote requests
✔ Appointment requests
✔ Online bookings
✔ Purchases and revenue
✔ Lead generation forms
✔ Email clicks
✔ Downloads
✔ Important button clicks
✔ Campaign landing-page activity
✔ Google Ads conversions
✔ CRM or third-party form activity when integrations allow it
The goal isn’t to track every possible click.
The goal is to measure the actions that indicate real business value.
My Analytics & Conversion Tracking Process
1
Tracking Audit
I review your existing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, website tracking,
and conversion setup to determine what’s currently being measured and whether it’s accurate.
2
Define Meaningful Conversions
We identify the actions that actually matter to your business and separate primary business
outcomes from secondary engagement metrics.
3
Configure Tracking
I implement or correct GA4 events, Google Tag Manager tags and triggers,
Google Ads conversions, UTMs, and other necessary tracking.
4
Test & Validate
Tracking isn’t complete simply because a tag fires. I test the conversion process
to verify that events are being recorded correctly and aren’t being duplicated.
5
Connect Your Marketing Platforms
Where appropriate, I connect GA4, Google Ads, Search Console, and other platforms
so your marketing data provides a more complete picture.
6
Analyze & Improve
Once we can trust the data, we can use it to identify opportunities across SEO, Google Ads, website optimization, and your broader digital strategy. When Your Numbers Don't Match
GA4 Says One Thing. Google Ads Says Another.
Your CRM Says Something Else.
Sound familiar?
Different platforms measure users, sessions, leads, and conversions differently. But significant discrepancies can also indicate tracking problems.
I’ve worked through situations involving:
- Leads appearing in a CRM but not GA4
- Google Ads conversions that don’t match actual leads
- Duplicate GA4 installations
- Multiple Google tags firing simultaneously
- Forms that aren’t generating conversion events
- Phone calls that aren’t being attributed correctly
- Incorrect referral traffic
- UTMs disappearing during the conversion process
- Third-party booking or CRM systems interrupting tracking
- Old conversion actions still influencing Google Ads
Rather than assuming the numbers are correct, I investigate how the data is being collected and determine where the disconnect is occurring.
Analytics Should Connect Your Entire Digital Strategy
Analytics isn’t a standalone marketing service.
It’s the measurement layer underneath everything else.
SEO tells us whether organic visibility is producing meaningful traffic and conversions.
Google Ads relies on accurate conversion signals to optimize bidding and campaign performance.
AI Search requires new ways of evaluating visibility, referral traffic, brand discovery, and assisted customer journeys.
Website Strategy uses behavioral and conversion data to identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
Fractional Digital Strategy brings all of that information together to determine what your business should do next.
When your data is reliable, every part of your digital strategy becomes smarter.

Frequently Asked Questions About Google Analytics
What is Google Analytics 4?
Google Analytics 4, commonly called GA4, is Google’s current analytics platform for measuring website and app activity. It uses an event-based measurement model that can track how users interact with your website and complete important actions.
What's the difference between Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager?
Google Analytics collects and reports data. Google Tag Manager helps deploy and manage many of the tags, events, and tracking configurations that send data to platforms such as GA4 and Google Ads.
They work together, but they serve different purposes.
Can you audit my existing Google Analytics setup?
Yes. In many cases, I recommend auditing the existing setup before making changes. An audit can uncover duplicate tracking, missing events, incorrectly configured conversions, outdated tags, and other problems affecting data accuracy.
Can you track website phone calls?
Yes. Depending on your website and advertising setup, phone-call interactions can be measured through GA4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and/or dedicated call-tracking solutions.
Can you track form submissions?
Yes. Contact forms, quote forms, lead forms, appointment requests, and other submissions can typically be configured as conversion events.
Why doesn't GA4 show the same number of leads as my CRM?
There are several possible reasons. Analytics platforms and CRMs measure activity differently, but missing tags, cross-domain tracking, consent settings, third-party forms, attribution rules, and technical problems can also cause discrepancies.
I can investigate the entire conversion path to determine what’s happening.
Do I need Google Tag Manager?
Not every website requires Google Tag Manager, but I frequently recommend it when a business needs more advanced conversion tracking, such as, phone call tracking, or uses multiple marketing platforms. It provides a centralized way to manage and troubleshoot many tracking implementations.
Can you fix my Google Ads conversion tracking?
Yes. I can audit Google Ads conversion actions, identify incorrectly configured or duplicate conversions, review primary and secondary conversion goals, and help ensure campaigns are optimizing toward meaningful business outcomes.
Stop Guessing About What's Working
Your marketing data should give you confidence, not confusion.
Whether you’re starting with a new GA4 implementation or trying to untangle years of tags, events, conversions, and conflicting reports, I’ll help you create a measurement system that provides clearer insight into your digital marketing performance.
