Digital Marketing Case Studies
Real Strategies. Measurable Results. Different Businesses, Different Solutions.
No two businesses have exactly the same digital marketing challenges.
Sometimes the problem is search visibility. Sometimes it’s an underperforming Google Ads account, a website that isn’t converting, inaccurate analytics, or a digital strategy that has grown disconnected over time.
My approach starts by identifying what’s actually standing between the business and its goals, then determining which combination of SEO, Google Ads, website strategy, analytics, content, and digital channels can make the greatest impact.
These case studies show what that looks like in practice.
Strategy Built Around the Business
The Goal Isn't More Marketing. It's Better Results.
I’ve worked in SEO and Google advertising since 2010, which means I’ve watched digital marketing change through multiple generations of search, advertising platforms, analytics, and technology.
The tools continue to evolve.
The strategic questions don’t change nearly as much.
What does the business actually need to accomplish?
What’s preventing that from happening?
Where are the biggest opportunities?
Which digital channels make sense for this particular business?
And most importantly:
How will we know whether it’s working?
The following projects demonstrate how those questions can lead to very different strategies, and very different results.

SEO & DIGITAL STRATEGY
Funpup
300.99% Increase in Unique Visitors
Funpup was a new educational brand with virtually no brand awareness, more than 11,000 website errors, no blog and only one ranking keyword when the project began.
Through technical SEO, content development, website optimization, landing pages, link building, paid advertising, social media and expanded ecommerce visibility, the site went from one ranking keyword to 40 first-page rankings in approximately six months while unique visitors increased 300.99%.
The ultimate result? Funpup was acquired — fulfilling Anderson Press’s primary business objective.
GOOGLE ADS & ECOMMERCE
Ergoflex Australia
$600,000 Increase in Annual Revenue
Ergoflex already had Google advertising running, but the account needed significant improvement.
After auditing the account, I reworked keyword targeting, introduced negative keywords, created five strategic campaigns, continually A/B tested ad copy, expanded visibility through Google Shopping and improved the relationship between ads and landing pages.
The original case study documented an increase of:
+$600,000 in annual revenue.
GOOGLE AD GRANTS & NONPROFIT STRATEGY
Children’s Museum of Atlanta
68.68% Increase in Clicks & Engagement
Ahead of its grand reopening, Children’s Museum of Atlanta needed help improving its Google Ad Grant account while increasing visibility for memberships, exhibits, events, programs and other organizational priorities.
The account was restructured around specific audiences and goals with tighter campaigns, ad groups, keyword targeting, conversion tracking and continuous optimization.
In less than five months:
+68.68% clicks & engagement
−23.71% cost per click
~8% account-wide CTR
The Museum also moved from its existing $10,000 Google Grant level to the $40,000-per-month advertising level available through the program at that time.
Different Challenges Require Different Strategies
There Isn't a Template for Digital Growth
Look closely at these three projects and you’ll notice something important.
Funpup didn’t need the same strategy as Ergoflex.
Ergoflex didn’t need the same strategy as Children’s Museum of Atlanta.
Funpup needed an entire digital foundation — technical SEO, content, brand visibility, ecommerce expansion and conversion optimization.
Ergoflex already had advertising. The opportunity was making that advertising substantially more effective.
Children’s Museum of Atlanta had access to a powerful nonprofit advertising resource, but needed the account structured around its organizational goals and Google Grant requirements.
That’s why I don’t begin a client relationship with a predetermined package of tactics.
I start with the problem we’re trying to solve.
Experience Through Every Evolution of Search
The Platforms Change. Strategy Evolves With Them.
Some of these case studies come from earlier generations of digital marketing.
Google Ads was called Google AdWords.
Google Shopping worked differently.
Analytics looked completely different.
Search engines have changed.
And today, AI platforms are changing how people discover businesses again.
I’ve had the opportunity to work through those changes rather than simply read about them.
Today, my strategies may incorporate:
Search Engine Optimization
AI Search Optimization
Google Ads
Google Analytics & Conversion Tracking
Website Strategy
Content & Video Visibility
Fractional Digital Strategy
The tools we use should evolve as technology and customer behavior evolve.
The objective remains the same:
Use digital strategy to help the business grow.

Maybe Google Ads is spending money without producing the quality of business you expect.
Maybe your website has grown over the years without a clear strategy.
Maybe your analytics don’t accurately tell you where leads are coming from.
Or maybe you’re trying to understand how SEO, AI Search, Google Ads, content and your website should work together now.
That’s where we start.
Let’s look at where you are, where you want to go and what needs to change to get there.
